Brighton & Hove has a significant cluster of film professionals covering all aspects of film-making including technical and location crew. Much of the industry relies on informal networks and contacts which can make it difficult for technical crew to make contact with visiting film companies. There are also national industry associations and professional bodies for those working in the film industries that provide their members with support, networking and details of opportunities.
